United To Retire All Boeing 767-300ERs by 2027
United Airlines has confirmed plans to retire all 37 of its Boeing 767-300ER aircraft by December 2027, marking the end of a pivotal chapter in the airline’s transatlantic history. These aircraft, introduced in 1991, have served United for over three decades, becoming essential to its long-haul operations. However, with the average fleet age approaching 28 years, the airline is moving to phase them out in favor of newer, more efficient widebodies.
