The aircraft is powered by CFM56-7B27 engines and is expected to operate throughout the peak 2025 season to support Eurowings’ expanded flight schedule.
AJet, based in Türkiye, has expanded its operational fleet with the addition of an Airbus A320, serial number 2689, secured through a wet lease agreement with SmartLynx Estonia. The aircraft is powered by V2527-A5 engines and marks a continued effort by AJet to increase short-haul capacity during peak operational periods.

This temporary lease arrangement comes as RwandAir’s own A330-200s undergo scheduled maintenance, ensuring uninterrupted long-haul services for the airline.
