SIA Group Reports $2.1B Profit Boosted By Air India-Vistara Merger
SIA Group, the parent company of Singapore Airlines, has announced strong financial results for the fiscal year 2024/25. The group achieved a net profit of $2.1 billion, a 3.9% increase year-on-year, largely driven by a one-off, non-cash accounting gain of $846 million arising from the merger of Air India and Vistara. Total revenue climbed 2.8% to $15 billion, while cash and bank balances reached $6.3 billion, underscoring the group’s robust financial health.
