Boeing 777-9 Completes 63-Day Brake Test Program

Boeing has successfully completed an intensive series of dry runway brake tests on the 777-9 prototype, marking a key milestone in the aircraft’s ongoing certification program. The testing campaign, which began in March when the prototype WH001 arrived at Clinton-Sherman Airport in Oklahoma, lasted 63 days—more than double the originally planned 30-day schedule.
