China United Airlines has expanded its fleet with the delivery of a B737-800, bearing serial number 37888. The aircraft is on lease and is powered by CFM56-7B26 engines, which are renowned for their efficiency and reliability in short- and medium-haul operations.
FlyKhiva, a growing Uzbek airline, has transitioned one of its two Boeing 737-300 aircraft from a wet lease to a dry lease with Icelandair. The first aircraft, serial number 30179, has already been converted, while the second aircraft, serial number 29434, is expected to follow in due course. The aircraft, identified by manufacturer serial number (MSN) 12858 and registration B-KKO, is an A321-251NX variant powered by CFM International LEAP-1A32 engines. It features a single-class, 236-seat cabin configuration, optimized for high-capacity regional routes.
