Ouranos Aircraft has signed an agreement with Sky Vision Airlines to deploy one Airbus A321 P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) aircraft at Freedom Airline in Kenya for a one-year operational period. The aircraft will be based at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where it will serve as a key asset for cargo distribution between Africa, Europe, and the UAE.
Freedom Airline, based in Kenya, has entered into a 12-month wet lease agreement with Sky Vision Airlines of Egypt for the operation of a freighter-configured Airbus A321F, bearing serial number 1707. This strategic move enhances Freedom Airline’s cargo service capabilities amid rising demand for regional and intra-African freight transport.
Freedom Airline, a Kenyan regional carrier, has expanded its operational capacity by adding one more EMB120 Brasiliaturboprop to its fleet. The newly inducted aircraft bears the serial number 120190, and it becomes the fourth active EMB120 in the airline’s inventory, signifying steady and deliberate growth in East Africa’s regional air transport segment.
