Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), based in Ireland, has successfully finalized lease agreements for two ATR72-600aircraft with Braathens Regional Airways of Sweden. This deal is part of NAC’s strategic efforts to expand its presence in the European market by supporting regional airlines with modern and efficient turboprop aircraft.
Surinam Airways has further extended the operation of its leased Airbus A340-600 aircraft on the flagship Paramaribo–Amsterdam route through 30 June 2025. The aircraft continues to be operated by USC (Germany), which provides the widebody under a wet-lease arrangement.

Air New Zealand is preparing for potential operational disruptions in 2H 2025, as it anticipates up to 11 aircraft being grounded at various points due to ongoing maintenance and supply chain constraints. In a strategic move to enhance domestic connectivity, TACV Cabo Verde Airlines has entered into agreements to lease two ATR 72-600 aircraft, bearing serial numbers 1512 and 1514, from TrueNoord, a Netherlands-based regional aircraft lessor. Each lease is set for an eight-year term.
