Investec Aviation Finance, based in the United Kingdom, has finalized a senior-term loan facility with Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF), headquartered in the United States, to support the acquisition of a Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The aircraft, bearing manufacturer serial number 1104, was acquired by AELF from Avolon, the global leasing company based in Ireland.
Arkia, an Israeli leisure-focused carrier, has announced plans to wet lease one A330-200 from GullivAir, a Bulgarian airline, for use during the summer 2025 season. This move allows Arkia to temporarily expand its widebody capacity in response to heightened seasonal demand.
Tunisair has secured an A330-200 aircraft, serial 1407, from Privilege Style (Spain) to temporarily replace one of its A330s, serial 1631, which has been under maintenance since mid-April 2025. Additionally, Tunisair has leased an A320, serial 2173, from Avion Express (Lithuania) to further support its operational needs during this period.
Hi Fly (Portugal) will wet lease an A330-200 aircraft, serial 935, to Azul (Brazil) to operate flights from Belo Horizonte. This leasing agreement provides Azul with additional capacity during peak travel periods while offering passengers enhanced long-haul service capabilities. In parallel, a B767-300ER on wet lease from euroAtlantic Airways (Portugal) will be reassigned to cover flights to Madrid.
Belavia (Belarus) is expanding its fleet with the addition of three A330-200 aircraft, beginning with serial 525. The subsequent aircraft, serials 509 and 491, are also scheduled to join Belavia’s fleet in the near future. All three aircraft have been sourced from Magic Air (Gambia).
SriLankan Airlines is poised to strengthen its long-haul operations with the addition of a new A330-200 aircraft, serial 1261, powered by Trent 772B-60 engines. This strategic fleet enhancement is scheduled to join the airline’s operations on 04 June 2025 and is aimed at boosting capacity on high-demand international routes.
EgyptAir has finalized a deal with AerCap (Ireland) to extend leases on five B777-300ERs by 18 months. These aircraft will remain in the fleet until the arrival of the first of ten A350-900s, which are not expected until late 2025. In parallel, the first of 18 B737-8s leased from Air Lease Corporation (US) is scheduled to arrive in early 2026.
Plus Ultra, a Spanish airline specializing in charter and ACMI services, has signed a new agreement with Air Algérie to provide one Airbus A330-200 under an ACMI lease for the next 12 months. The aircraft will support the Algerian carrier’s network during a period of elevated demand and ongoing fleet adjustments.

The aircraft will support the carrier’s transatlantic and leisure-focused network out of Barcelona El Prat Airport.
