Challenge Group, a Malta-based aviation company, has achieved a significant milestone by registering Europe’s first B777-300ERSF under its 9H Air Operator Certificate (AOC). This marks the introduction of the B777-300ERSF, a converted freighter, into the European market, with the group planning to receive two units in 2025.

FTAI Aviation to Redeem Series B Preferred Shares

FTAI Aviation, headquartered in the Cayman Islands, has announced plans to redeem all outstanding 4,940,000 8.00% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Series B Cumulative Perpetual Redeemable Preferred Shares. The redemption price is set at $25.00 per Series B Share in cash, along with an additional $2.4 million covering accumulated and unpaid distributions.

Portugal Plans $9.2 Billion Alcochete Airport by 2034

The Portuguese government has officially requested ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, the country’s airport operator, to submit a proposal for the construction and operation of a new international airport in the Lisbon district. The proposed airport, to be located in Alcochete, is expected to cost up to US$9.2 billion and commence operations by 2034.

Surinam Airways Extends A340-600 Service on Paramaribo–Amsterdam Route
