Alaska Airlines Retires Final Boeing 737-900
Alaska Airlines has officially retired its last Boeing 737-900, marking the end of an era for the carrier. The aircraft in question, registered N309AS, made its final departure from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) bound for Marana, Arizona (MZJ), where it will be stored. Delivered to the airline in July 2001, the aircraft has served Alaska Airlines for more than two decades, symbolizing a key chapter in the airline’s narrowbody fleet development.
