Airlines for America CEO Nicholas Calio to Retire
Airlines for America (A4A) President and CEO Nicholas Calio has announced his decision to retire at the end of 2025. Under Calio’s leadership, A4A has been instrumental in advocating for the U.S. airline industry, focusing on policy, regulatory advancements, and sustainability initiatives.
Calio, who has led A4A since 2011, is widely recognized for his efforts in strengthening the industry’s voice in Washington and fostering collaboration among member airlines. His tenure has seen significant achievements, including navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and pushing for critical policy reforms.
