TAAG Angola has expanded its fleet with the delivery of an Airbus A220-300, serial 55334, powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines. This latest addition aligns with the airline’s modernization strategy, improving fuel efficiency, passenger comfort, and operational flexibility.
The Brazilian government has provided an updated timeline on the proposed merger between GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes and Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, estimating that the process will be finalized within 12 months. This leasing agreement provides Azul with additional capacity during peak travel periods while offering passengers enhanced long-haul service capabilities. In parallel, a B767-300ER on wet lease from euroAtlantic Airways (Portugal) will be reassigned to cover flights to Madrid.
Parata Air, a new entrant in the South Korean aviation market, has reached a significant milestone by securing its business license, setting the stage for its forthcoming operations. The airline is currently awaiting its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), which is expected to be finalized soon.
