Titan Aircraft Investments has announced the acquisition of two Boeing 777 Freighters, bearing serial numbers 42033 and 42034. The aircraft are currently on lease to Ethiopian Airlines and were purchased from Carlyle Aviation Partners, reinforcing Titan’s growing freighter portfolio.
Turkish Airlines is in the process of finalizing lease agreements with lessors Avolon and Carlyle Aviation Partners, both based in Ireland, to acquire a total of 14 Airbus A321neo aircraft. These aircraft are intended for its low-cost subsidiary, Ajet, and are part of the airline’s broader effort to compensate for delivery delays affecting its direct aircraft orders.
Akasa Air, India’s newest low-cost carrier, has expanded its fleet with the addition of a B737-8200 aircraft, registration VT-YBG. The aircraft is powered by advanced LEAP-1B engines, offering improved fuel efficiency and environmental performance.
SalamAir, the low-cost carrier based in Oman, has announced that its next Airbus A321neo, with serial number 12631, will be delivered in July 2025. This aircraft, powered by LEAP-1A engines, will increase the airline’s total fleet to 15 aircraft. In addition, the airline expects delivery of three more Airbus A320neos in early 2026, marking another phase of its fleet expansion strategy.
