Viva Reports 2.8% Increase in October 2024 Passengers to 2.4 Million

Viva, the Mexican low-cost carrier, recorded a 2.8% increase in passenger numbers for October 2024, reaching 2.4 million passengers. Despite the growth in traffic, the airline’s load factor (LF) dropped by 2.1 points to 87.7%, indicating a slight decrease in seat occupancy compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, Viva’s Available Seat Miles (ASMs) rose by 5.0%, and Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) increased by 2.9%, reflecting the airline’s expanded capacity and sustained demand.
