IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) has announced plans to resume direct flights to Mainland China, marking a major step in restoring connectivity between India and its northern neighbor. Beginning 26 October 2025, the airline will launch daily nonstop services from Delhi and Kolkata to Guangzhou, subject to final regulatory approvals.
Lufthansa Cargo has announced a strategic collaboration with IndiGo CarGo to establish a new Dhaka–Los Angeles cargo corridor, enhancing connectivity between South Asia and North America. Under this agreement, IndiGo CarGo operates a dedicated Airbus A321 freighter from Dhaka (DAC) via Kolkata (CCU) to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), where the cargo is then transferred onto Lufthansa’s transpacific freighter service to Los Angeles (LAX).
