interCaribbean Acquires Eight E170s With Investec Support

interCaribbean Airways, based in the Turks & Caicos, has announced the acquisition of eight Embraer E170 aircraft formerly operated by EgyptAir Express. The transaction is backed by financing from Investec, a UK-based specialist bank and asset manager. In addition to funding the acquisition, Investec is also providing refinancing for five ATRscurrently in interCaribbean’s fleet.

interCaribbean Airways Takes Delivery Of E170 MSN 17000284

interCaribbean Airways, based in the Turks & Caicos Islands, has taken delivery of an Embraer E170 regional jet, identified by manufacturer serial number (MSN) 17000284. The aircraft is equipped with CF34-8E5 engines, manufactured by GE Aerospace, and is expected to play a key role in expanding the carrier’s intra-Caribbean connectivity.

CemAir Deploys CRJ900 On ACMI For interCaribbean

CemAir, a South African regional airline, has initiated operations of a Bombardier CRJ900, serial number 15081, under an ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) agreement with interCaribbean Airways, based in Turks and Caicos. The deployment serves to temporarily replace a CRJ700, serial number 10289, which has been removed from service for maintenance.
