The delivery underlines the carrier’s continued role in supporting China’s expanding air cargo market, particularly amid the country’s increasing reliance on converted widebody freighters to handle growing logistics demand.
CAM has brought an Airbus A330-300 (MSN 1146) out of long-term storage and transferred it for freighter conversion in China. The aircraft, built in 2010 and powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, was ferried from Châteauroux (CHR) in France to Guangzhou (CAN), where it will undergo conversion at ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services in cooperation with EFW.

ST Aerospace (Guangzhou) Aviation Services has successfully completed its first A330-300P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) conversion for EFW (Germany). The 2011-vintage A330-300, identified by serial number 1226, is powered by Trent 700 engines and is set to join the Amazon (US) fleet on lease.
