Bridges Air Cargo has confirmed plans to commence service in November 2025 with the world’s first Embraer E190F, following successful registration and approval from Transport Malta’s Civil Aviation Directorate. The aircraft, a 2010-vintage unit bearing serial number 19000360, previously operated with Avianca El Salvador before undergoing freighter conversion.

Embraer, in collaboration with lessor Regional One, has announced that Bridges Air Cargo, based in Malta, will be the launch operator of the new E190F freighter conversion program. The first of two converted aircraft is expected to begin operating in Bridges’ fleet during the third quarter of 2025, marking a significant milestone in Embraer’s expansion into the cargo aircraft market.
