The company intends to induct the first Boeing 777-300ERSF converted freighter into its fleet in 2025, reflecting a significant shift toward higher-capacity, long-range cargo operations.
Challenge Group, based in Malta, has acquired its first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, manufacturer serial number (MSN) 38284, which will be converted into a dedicated freighter by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in Tel Aviv. The aircraft is expected to be redelivered in Q1 2026, marking a key step in the group’s fleet expansion into the long-haul cargo sector.

This marks the introduction of the B777-300ERSF, a converted freighter, into the European market, with the group planning to receive two units in 2025.
