Chorus Aviation Acquires Elisen & Associates

Chorus Aviation has signed an agreement to acquire Elisen & Associates, a Montreal-based engineering and certification firm known for its work on A220 aircraft as well as Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Learjet special mission platforms. The acquisition aims to enhance Chorus’s competencies in defense contracting, specialized MRO, and aerospace engineering, while expanding its footprint within the heart of Montreal’s aerospace ecosystem.

Qatar Airways Orders 5 B777 Conversions From Mammoth

Qatar Airways has entered an agreement with Mammoth Freighters (US) for the conversion of five Boeing 777 passenger aircraft into freighters, responding to continued delivery delays of the B777-8F, for which the airline has 34 firm orders and 16 options. The first of the converted aircraft—a B777-200LRMF—is expected to be delivered later in 2025.
