Mexicana de Aviación has strengthened its fleet with the arrival of its third Embraer E195-E2, delivered to Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), the airline’s central hub.
Interjet, the Mexican airline, is in discussions with potential investors to resume operations by the end of the first quarter of 2025. According to the airline’s chairman, Alejandro Del Valle, the plan involves a $500 million investment to restart flights, with operations centered at Mexico City’s Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).
Turkish Airlines is set to launch a weekly freighter service connecting its Istanbul base to Mexico City’s AIFA(Felipe Ángeles International Airport) via a US gateway. The operation is scheduled to begin in January or February 2025, marking an expansion of the airline’s cargo network in the Americas.
