flyadeal, the Saudi low-cost carrier and subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), has taken delivery of two Airbus A320 aircraft on wet lease from Cebu Pacific of the Philippines. The aircraft, identified by manufacturer serial numbers (MSNs) 5515 and 5179, are powered by CFM International CFM56-5B4/3 engines.
Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, has expanded its fleet with the addition of an Airbus A320 (MSN 3631) through an ACMI lease agreement with SmartLynx Malta. The carrier is also preparing to take delivery of one Embraer E195(MSN 19000029) on dry lease from U.S.-based lessor Regional One. These strategic fleet moves aim to reinforce Air Peace’s regional and domestic coverage while improving operational flexibility.
Plus Ultra, a Spanish airline specializing in charter and ACMI services, has signed a new agreement with Air Algérie to provide one Airbus A330-200 under an ACMI lease for the next 12 months. The aircraft will support the Algerian carrier’s network during a period of elevated demand and ongoing fleet adjustments.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) lease arrangements for two narrowbody aircraft. The lease period will run from April 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025, coinciding with the airline’s peak operational season.
