Air Belgium has announced plans to phase out its two A330-200F aircraft by the end of August 2025, marking a significant change in the airline’s cargo operations. These aircraft have been operating under a lease agreement with Altavair AirFinance, a U.S.-based lessor specializing in commercial aircraft financing and leasing solutions.
DHL Aviation (Germany) has expanded its global freighter fleet with the delivery of an A330-200F aircraft, serial 1708. This aircraft is operated by Air Hong Kong and powered by Trent 772B-60 engines, produced by Rolls-Royce. The A330-200F is renowned for its exceptional cargo capacity and range, making it a valuable asset for international logistics and express services.
Magma Aviation is actively exploring options to expand its own-controlled fleet, considering a range of widebody freighters to support its growing cargo operations. The company is evaluating Boeing B767-300F, B767-200F, A330-300F, A330-200F, and converted B777-300ER aircraft to enhance its capacity and network reach.
Hungary Airlines has obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC), paving the way for A330-200F operations on behalf of the Hungarian government. The aircraft, identified by serial number 1578, will primarily serve routes between Europe and China, facilitating enhanced cargo connectivity and trade.
