SATA Azores Airlines Restructures North American Network

SATA Azores Airlines has announced significant changes to its North American operations, restructuring its summer 2025 schedule. The airline will discontinue flights from Funchal to Boston, New York JFK, and Toronto. Additionally, three routes from Porto to the same destinations will also be dropped.

These adjustments are part of SATA’s broader strategy to optimize its transatlantic operations and focus on routes with stronger demand and profitability. The changes aim to enhance the airline’s overall efficiency while ensuring sustained connectivity between the Azores and key North American markets.
