Air India Express has expanded its fleet with the addition of four leased Airbus aircraft, comprising three A320s and one A320neo. The A320s—with serial numbers 6446, 6690, and 6715—are powered by CFM56-5B4/3 engines, while the A320neo, serial 11779, is equipped with LEAP-1A26 engines.
China Southern has taken delivery of three Airbus A320neo family aircraft, including one A319neo (MSN 12495), one A320neo (MSN 12516), and one A321neo (MSN 12569). All three jets are powered by LEAP-series enginessupplied by CFM International, with the A319neo and A320neo using LEAP-1A26 engines and the A321neo equipped with LEAP-1A32 engines.
Airinmar, a subsidiary of AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), has secured a multi-year support services agreement with Malaysia Airlines to deliver specialized aircraft warranty management and value engineering services. The new partnership will focus on maximizing warranty recovery, reducing component repair expenses, and driving down the overall cost of maintenance across Malaysia Airlines’ diverse fleet.
Vietjet, the Vietnamese low-cost airline, has signed a cooperation agreement with Boeing to transfer 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to its Thai subsidiary, Thai Vietjet Air. The aircraft are part of a larger order of 200 units originally placed in 2022, aimed at supporting Vietjet’s ambitious regional growth strategy.
Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has received a new Boeing 737-8 aircraft with manufacturer serial number 63370. The aircraft is powered by CFM International LEAP-1B27 engines, known for their efficiency and reduced environmental footprint.
Brussels Airlines has become the launch customer within the Lufthansa Group for a newly developed virtual reality (VR) pilot training system, designed specifically for Airbus A320 type rating. The system was developed over a two-year collaboration between Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) and Airbus, and it now forms an integral part of pilot instruction for the Belgian carrier.
