SMBC Aviation Capital, one of the world’s leading aircraft leasing firms based in Ireland, has finalized an agreement to lease one Airbus A320neo to Air Cairo, an Egyptian low-cost and charter carrier. The aircraft is scheduled for delivery in 2026, further supporting Air Cairo’s ongoing strategy to modernize and expand its fleet.
Ascend Airways is set to accelerate its fleet expansion in early 2025, with the addition of one Boeing B737-800 in February and two B737-8 aircraft in March and April. Air Cairo (Egypt) has officially announced the launch of a seasonal route connecting Sharm el Sheikh to Milan Bergamo. Scheduled to commence on 03 April 2025, the route will operate using the airline’s Embraer E190 aircraft.
Alliance Airlines (Australia) has taken delivery of one Embraer E190, serial 19000042, powered by CF34-10E6 engines. The latest addition continues the airline’s fleet expansion strategy, enhancing its operational capabilities for regional and domestic routes.
