Lufthansa City Airlines Receives A320neo D-AIJR With PW1127G
Lufthansa City Airlines has welcomed a new addition to its fleet with the delivery of a brand-new Airbus A320neo from Airbus’ Toulouse facility. The aircraft, designated as A320-271N, carries the manufacturer serial number 12656 and is registered as D-AIJR. It is named Oberstdorf W, continuing Lufthansa’s tradition of naming aircraft after notable German towns.

This A320neo is powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney PW1127G geared turbofan engines, known for their improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise levels. The aircraft is fitted with a high-density 180-seat all-economy configuration (180Y), reflecting Lufthansa City Airlines’ focus on cost-effective regional operations within Europe.
