Fly OYA Takes Delivery of First B777-200ER on Lease from Ghadames Air

Fly OYA, an airline based in Libya, has taken delivery of its first Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, marking a significant milestone in the carrier’s fleet expansion strategy. The aircraft, with serial number 32889, is leased from Ghadames Air, another Libyan airline, and is powered by GE90-94B engines. This acquisition represents a notable addition to Fly OYA’s fleet, which is focused on enhancing its long-haul capabilities and offering improved service for international routes. The Boeing 777-200ER, known for its extended range and passenger capacity, will allow Fly OYA to expand its network reach, meeting increased demand for travel to and from Libya.
