Etihad Leases Airbus Aircraft From Avolon For Network Growth

Etihad Airways has taken a major step in its fleet development strategy by finalizing an agreement with Avolon for the lease of 13 new Airbus aircraft. The deal, announced at the Dubai Airshow, covers nine A330neo widebodies and four A320neo family narrowbodies, all sourced from Avolon’s substantial forward orderbook. These aircraft will play a central role in Etihad’s medium-haul and short-haul expansion as the airline continues to bolster its presence across global markets.
