China Eastern Adds New Airbus A321neo to Fleet

China Eastern Airlines has recently bolstered its fleet by adding a new Airbus A321neo, identified by serial number 12093 and powered by LEAP-1A32 engines. This acquisition supports China Eastern’s strategy to modernize its fleet with fuel-efficient, next-generation aircraft. The LEAP-1A32 engines, produced by CFM International, are known for their optimized fuel efficiency and lower carbon emissions, aligning with the airline’s sustainability goals. This engine type also promises reduced noise levels and maintenance costs, which can significantly enhance operational economics for China Eastern.
