Aegean Faces GTF Engine Issues Through 2027

Aegean Airlines anticipates continued operational disruptions from GTF engine problems for at least another two years, extending into 2027. The airline projects that the peak of these challenges will occur in 2026, when up to 13 or 14 aircraft may be grounded simultaneously due to Pratt & Whitney’s PW1000G engine reliability issues.
