Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, has bolstered its fleet by wet-leasing an Airbus A320, serial number 2975, from SmartLynx Airlines. This strategic move replaces a departing A320, ensuring seamless operations across its domestic and regional networks.
Heston Airlines, a Lithuanian ACMI and charter operator, has announced a wet lease agreement with Nesma Airlines, an Egyptian carrier, for one Airbus A320 during the February to April 2025 period. The aircraft, serial number 3596, will be leased under an ACMI arrangement, covering aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance.
FlyKhiva, a growing Uzbek airline, has transitioned one of its two Boeing 737-300 aircraft from a wet lease to a dry lease with Icelandair. The first aircraft, serial number 30179, has already been converted, while the second aircraft, serial number 29434, is expected to follow in due course. This move signifies FlyKhiva’s increasing operational independence as it moves toward self-sufficiency in aircraft management.
Condor, the German leisure airline, has confirmed a wet lease agreement with Fly Air41, a Croatian carrier, for the temporary addition of an Airbus A319 to its fleet. The aircraft will be based in Frankfurt and will operate between May 1 and October 25, 2025, supporting Condor’s seasonal network expansion during the peak summer travel period.
Brussels Airlines has entered into a wet-lease agreement with Air Europa, enlisting a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to service its Brussels to New York JFK route. This arrangement commenced on February 22, 2025, and is set to continue while several of Brussels Airlines’ Airbus A330 aircraft are undergoing maintenance.
Air Montenegro has expanded its operational capacity by securing a wet-lease of an Embraer E190 aircraft from Windrose Airlines, a Ukrainian carrier. The aircraft, bearing serial number 19000494, will be integrated into Air Montenegro’s fleet under this agreement, which extends until October 31, 2025.
Saudia has expanded its widebody fleet with the addition of one Airbus A330-300, serial 1103, on wet lease from Wamos Air (Spain). The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 772B-60 engines, supporting the airline’s operational requirements.
Air Serbia is set to wet lease two additional Embraer E190s from Bulgaria Air to meet increased summer season demand. The fourth aircraft in this arrangement is expected to join the fleet by June 2025.
Air Albania has expanded its fleet with the delivery of an Airbus A320, acquired on a wet lease agreement from Fly2Sky (Bulgaria). The aircraft, bearing serial number 3055, is powered by CFM56-5B4/P engines and is set to support the airline’s operational demands.
Braathens Regional Airways (Sweden) has expanded its regional fleet by acquiring three additional ATR72 aircraft, further strengthening its wet lease partnership with SAS (Scandinavian Airlines). These aircraft will operate exclusively for SAS, supporting the airline’s regional network and operational flexibility.
