Wizz Air Loses Challenge Against EU-Approved Aid for TAROM

Wizz Air, a low-cost airline based in Hungary, has lost its legal challenge against a $2.1 million capital increaseprovided by the Romanian government to TAROM, Romania’s national airline. Wizz Air argued that the state aid breached EU competition laws, but the court upheld the EU’s decision, allowing Romania to proceed with its financial support for TAROM.
