Sichuan Airlines, a major player in China’s aviation sector, has expanded its fleet by taking delivery of a brand-new Airbus A320neo. The aircraft, identified by serial number 12386, is equipped with PW1127G-JM engines, manufactured by Pratt & Whitney, known for their superior efficiency and reduced environmental footprint.
Hawaiian Airlines has announced that Diana Birkett Rakow will become Chief Executive Officer on October 29, 2025, succeeding Joe Sprague, who is retiring after a distinguished 25-year career with Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, and Hawaiian Airlines. Tus Airways, based in Cyprus, has announced a shift in its ownership structure as Logo Jet of Israel increased its holdings to become the airline’s majority shareholder. Logo Jet recently acquired an additional 41.6% of Tus Airways’ shares, bringing its total ownership to 75%. The remaining shares are held by Global Knafaim Leasing (Israel) and Kenneth Woolley, each retaining a 12.5% stake in the airline.
Jeju Air is set to expand its fleet with the upcoming delivery of a Boeing 737-8 MAX, bearing the manufacturer serial number (MSN) 66544 and registered as HL8592. The aircraft is powered by two CFM International LEAP-1B engines, which provide significant improvements in fuel efficiency, noise reduction, and operating performance compared to earlier 737 models.
Saudia has expanded its fleet with the delivery of a new Airbus A321neo, featuring serial number 12370. This state-of-the-art aircraft is equipped with LEAP-1A32 engines, developed by CFM International, which are renowned for their fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and reliability.
Luxair, the national airline of Luxembourg, reported a net group profit of $153 million for 2024, demonstrating strong operational performance in a competitive regional aviation landscape. The year’s overall revenue slightly declined to $801 million, yet the airline maintained profitability through careful cost control and stable passenger demand.
