QantasLink has announced a multi-million-dollar investment program to upgrade its Western Australia fleet, combining cabin enhancements across its Airbus aircraft with the introduction of Embraer E190 jets to replace long-serving Fokker 100 aircraft.
QantasLink, the regional subsidiary of Qantas Group, has identified the Embraer E190 as the preferred aircraft type for its upcoming fleet renewal program at Network Aviation, based in Western Australia. This program will gradually phase out the aging Fokker 100 (F100) fleet and replace it with up to 14 E190s, marking a strategic modernization of Qantas’ regional operations.
QantasLink (Australia) has taken delivery of an Airbus A319, identified by serial number 2679. The aircraft is operated by Network Aviation (Australia) and is powered by V2524-A5 engines. This addition further strengthens QantasLink’s regional fleet, enhancing its capacity to serve key domestic routes.
Network Aviation, based in the UK, has taken delivery of a Boeing 747-400 Freighter (B747-400F). The aircraft, powered by CF6-80C2B1F engines and identified by serial CF6-80C2B1F, is operated by Air Atlanta Icelandic, a leading provider of ACMI and charter services.
