CMA CGM has officially taken the role of launch customer for the Airbus A350F freighter, following the cancellation of seven aircraft orders by Air Lease Corporation. The French shipping and logistics giant confirmed its position in a recent LinkedIn post, highlighting its commitment to operating eight A350Fs through its dedicated air cargo subsidiary, CMA CGM Air Cargo.
KLM Cargo has taken delivery of a Boeing 747-400ERF, manufacturer serial number (MSN) 33695, operated by Martinair, a subsidiary of the KLM Group. The aircraft is powered by CF6-80C2B5F engines and is expected to reinforce the airline’s long-haul cargo capacity across major trade routes.
Air France-KLM has revised its Airbus A350F freighter order, reducing the total from eight to six aircraft as part of an updated fleet strategy. The adjusted order will see the aircraft split between Air France and Martinair, optimizing the group’s cargo operations while aligning with evolving market demand and operational efficiency goals.
