El Al, Israel’s flagship carrier, is engaging in discussions with the Israeli government to relax the restrictions imposed on the airline as a condition for receiving state aid during the pandemic. In exchange, the airline is proposing a gradual reduction in the government’s participation in its security expenses.

KlasJet Expands Partnership with Sun d’Or

KlasJet, a prominent charter and ACMI provider based in Lithuania, has announced the continuation and expansion of its strategic partnership with Sun d’Or, an Israeli airline and subsidiary of El Al. As part of this collaboration, KlasJet will lease a fourth Boeing 737-800 to Sun d’Or for a designated period, spanning from 28 December 2024 to 31 March 2025.

Logo Jet Increases Stake in Tus Airways to 75%, Becoming Majority Shareholder

Tus Airways, based in Cyprus, has announced a shift in its ownership structure as Logo Jet of Israel increased its holdings to become the airline’s majority shareholder. Logo Jet recently acquired an additional 41.6% of Tus Airways’ shares, bringing its total ownership to 75%. The remaining shares are held by Global Knafaim Leasing (Israel) and Kenneth Woolley, each retaining a 12.5% stake in the airline.
