Arkia (Israel) has announced plans to operate an A330-900 aircraft from Iberojet (Spain) on behalf of TechAir (Israel). The widebody aircraft will be deployed on the Tel Aviv–New York route, with operations scheduled from 08 February to May 2025.
Iberia, Spain’s flagship airline, has entered into wet-lease agreements to sustain its operations between Madrid and Santo Domingo as its own Airbus A330 fleet undergoes maintenance. The airline has leased an A330-300 from Wamos Air and an A330-900 from Iberojet, both based in Spain, to cover the temporary gap in capacity.
Iberojet, the Spanish leisure airline, has announced plans to launch direct flights between Madrid and Delhi starting in April 2025. This new route will make Iberojet the only airline offering direct flights between Spain and India, reinstating a connection that has been absent since August 2020, when Air India ceased its Madrid–Delhi service.
