Air France-KLM has made a $326.8 million bid to acquire a 51% stake in Air Europa, a strategic move that would strengthen its presence in Spain and enhance its long-haul connectivity to Latin America.
Transavia Netherlands, a low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group, has taken delivery of a new Airbus A321neo, bearing serial number 12351. The aircraft, powered by LEAP-1B32 engines, aligns with Transavia’s efforts to modernize its fleet, reduce emissions, and improve operational efficiency.
Vueling, a low-cost carrier based in Spain, is set to bolster its fleet with five new aircraft allocated by its parent company, International Airlines Group (IAG). This decision will enhance Vueling’s operational capacity during the summer 2025 season, a crucial period for air travel demand.
