CMA CGM has officially taken the role of launch customer for the Airbus A350F freighter, following the cancellation of seven aircraft orders by Air Lease Corporation. The French shipping and logistics giant confirmed its position in a recent LinkedIn post, highlighting its commitment to operating eight A350Fs through its dedicated air cargo subsidiary, CMA CGM Air Cargo.
CMA CGM Air Cargo, the cargo airline division of French shipping giant CMA CGM Group, has expanded its dedicated air fleet with the delivery of a Boeing B777F freighter, carrying serial number 68187. The aircraft is powered by GE90-110B1/115B engines, among the most powerful and reliable engines for long-haul freighter operations.
AFI KLM E&M, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) arm of the Air France–KLM Group, has signed a comprehensive extended maintenance agreement with CMA CGM AIR CARGO, both based in France, covering the GE90 engines that power the latter’s long-haul freighter fleet.
