Uzbekistan Airways reported moderate passenger growth in 2025, reflecting continued recovery in demand alongside operational and fleet developments across its network.
Samarkand International Airport (SKD) experienced a 9.4% year-on-year growth in passenger traffic during the first half of 2025, handling a total of 708,000 passengers, according to Air Marakanda, the airport’s operator. This growth underscores the airport’s strengthening position as a key gateway for tourism and international connectivity in Uzbekistan.
Air Montenegro has announced the launch of new seasonal operations from Podgorica to two exciting destinations: Prague and Baku. The flights to Prague will commence on 1 May 2025, while services to Baku will start on 7 June 2025.
