FlyKhiva has taken delivery of a Boeing 757-200, marking a notable addition to its operational fleet. The aircraft, bearing the manufacturer serial number (MSN) 29434, is being operated under a wet lease agreement from Icelandair, signifying a temporary yet comprehensive lease that includes crew, maintenance, and insurance.
FlyKhiva, a growing Uzbek airline, has transitioned one of its two Boeing 737-300 aircraft from a wet lease to a dry lease with Icelandair. The first aircraft, serial number 30179, has already been converted, while the second aircraft, serial number 29434, is expected to follow in due course. This move signifies FlyKhiva’s increasing operational independence as it moves toward self-sufficiency in aircraft management.
