MASwings Valuation Key to Sarawak’s Acquisition Plans
MASwings, a Malaysian regional airline, is moving closer to a potential acquisition by the Sarawak state government. Premier Abang Johari Openg announced that a thorough asset valuation must first be conducted before the state can fully proceed with the acquisition. A third-party audit has been commissioned to determine the airline’s appropriate value, with the goal of completing the acquisition by 1Q 2025.
