Japan Airlines Faces B737-8 and B787 Delivery Delays

Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced a six-month delay in the delivery of its first Boeing 737-8, though the aircraft is still expected to arrive within fiscal 2026. Additionally, two Boeing 787s intended for its subsidiary, ZIPAIR, are now scheduled for delivery in the first half of fiscal 2026, later than originally planned.
