FTAI Aviation in Talks to Develop V2500 Engine Shop with Pratt & Whitney
FTAI Aviation, a U.S.-based aerospace company, is exploring the possibility of transforming its Montreal facility, FTAI Canada, into a V2500 engine maintenance and repair shop. The V2500 engine, widely used on Airbus A320 family aircraft, is manufactured by Pratt & Whitney, which is currently in discussions with FTAI about this potential expansion. If successful, this collaboration would position FTAI Canada as a key player in North America for V2500 Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services.
