IndiGo (India) has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Kolkata and Phuket, set to commence on December 27, 2024. This new route reflects IndiGo’s commitment to enhancing international connectivity and catering to the growing demand for travel to popular destinations in Southeast Asia.
Southwest Airlines, the largest domestic carrier in the United States, has added another aircraft to its fleet with the delivery of a Boeing 737-8, bearing manufacturer serial number (MSN) 42617. The aircraft is powered by LEAP-1B28 engines developed by CFM International, aligning with the airline’s ongoing investment in the B737 MAX family.
Liebherr-Aerospace Saline, Inc. has marked a significant milestone in its U.S. operations with the inauguration of a new 33,000 ft² (3,065 m²) facility, further strengthening its aftermarket service capabilities. TrueNoord (Netherlands) has completed the acquisition of seven ATR72-600 aircraft from GOAL Aircraft Leasing (Germany). These aircraft are currently on lease to prominent European carriers, further strengthening TrueNoord’s regional aviation portfolio.
