This move represents Vietjet’s first significant widebody order with Airbus and marks a pivotal shift in its long-term strategic planning, with the goal of expanding medium- and long-haul operations over the coming decade.
IndiGo (India) has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-800, serial 39412, on wet lease from Corendon Airlines (Turkiye). The aircraft, powered by CFM56-7B26 engines, has been introduced to support IndiGo’s operational needs amid ongoing fleet expansion efforts.
Fly2Sky, a Bulgarian charter airline, has signed a three-year wet lease agreement with SkyUp Airlines of Ukraine, providing aircraft to support SkyUp’s growing operations. The deal includes the wet lease of two Airbus A320s for the full three years and two Airbus A321s, which will remain in service until October 31, 2025.
