IndiGo (India) has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-800, serial 39412, on wet lease from Corendon Airlines (Turkiye). The aircraft, powered by CFM56-7B26 engines, has been introduced to support IndiGo’s operational needs amid ongoing fleet expansion efforts.
Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest airline, has bolstered its fleet by wet-leasing an Airbus A320, serial number 2975, from SmartLynx Airlines. This strategic move replaces a departing A320, ensuring seamless operations across its domestic and regional networks.
FlyKhiva, a growing Uzbek airline, has transitioned one of its two Boeing 737-300 aircraft from a wet lease to a dry lease with Icelandair. Condor, the German leisure airline, has confirmed a wet lease agreement with Fly Air41, a Croatian carrier, for the temporary addition of an Airbus A319 to its fleet. Brussels Airlines has entered into a wet-lease agreement with Air Europa, enlisting a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to service its Brussels to New York JFK route. Air Montenegro has expanded its operational capacity by securing a wet-lease of an Embraer E190 aircraft from Windrose Airlines, a Ukrainian carrier.
