Global Airlines Denies A380 Retirement Amid Tarbes Parking

Global Airlines has clarified that its only Airbus A380, registered 9H-GLOBL (MSN 120), is not heading into long-term storage, countering growing speculation following the aircraft’s relocation to Tarbes–Lourdes–Pyrénées Airport. Operated by Hi Fly, the double-decker aircraft had recently completed two roundtrip flights between Glasgow and New Yorkbefore being grounded.

AELS Acquires A330 for Dismantling at Tarbes

AELS (Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions), based in the Netherlands, has acquired an Airbus A330, identified by serial 448, for dismantling. The dismantling process will be carried out at Tarbes, France, in partnership with Tarmac Aerosave, a leading provider of aircraft storage, maintenance, and recycling services. This acquisition and dismantling project align with AELS’s commitment to sustainable aircraft end-of-life management and resource recovery.
