Runway Maintenance

Air Inuit (Canada) has filed a lawsuit in the Superior Court of Quebec, seeking US$6.2 million in damages over what it claims to be negligent maintenance of Nunavik’s gravel runways. The carrier alleges that the runways, spread across 13 airports, pose operational and safety risks due to their poor condition.
