Macedonia Offers Subsidies for New Routes from Skopje and Ohrid

The government of Macedonia has announced a public call to introduce new airline routes from the country’s two main airports, Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport, as part of an initiative aimed at boosting connectivity and tourism. Airlines willing to operate these new routes between 2025 and 2027 can compete for financial subsidies totaling US$3.3 million.
