Emirates has announced that it will deploy its Airbus A350 on the daily Dubai–Hangzhou service beginning October 26, 2025, only three months after launching flights to the Chinese city. The move underscores the airline’s commitment to strengthening its footprint in mainland China while delivering an elevated travel experience with its latest fleet addition.
Emirates has officially inaugurated its daily service between Dubai and Hangzhou, marking the airline’s fifth destination in mainland China and continuing a strategic expansion across East Asia. The new route, launched just weeks after the addition of Shenzhen, increases Emirates’ Chinese mainland services to 49 weekly flights, reinforcing its commitment to one of the world’s most dynamic aviation markets.
CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., has executed lease agreements with Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co., Ltd. (Loong Air) for six Airbus A321neo aircraft, with deliveries scheduled for 2027. The transaction reflects the two companies’ longstanding strategic relationship, spanning over a decade, and reinforces their mutual commitment to supporting China’s aviation development.
